Database connection Issues

Hello everyone, My name is Emmanuel Katto. I'm having trouble with my database connection string in VB.NET. It works in a small test application but fails in my main application. What are common pitfalls to look out for regarding connection strings?

Rather than asking us to explain all there is to know about connection strings, how about you explain exactly what you're trying to do, show us the connection string you're using (without any sensitive values) and tell us what actually happens? In the meantime, you might look here for connection string instructions and examples.
