Question create a configuration form?

i want to create a configuration form.During the first installation i want to check whether database file has carrying existing data or not(ms-access).if it s present we can directly move to next page,if not we want to insert the data after we want to delete the same data for checking purpose whether data base file working or not.

Assuming you are including the database file in your installation package, wouldn't you already know whether there were records in it or not?

Indeed, you'd distribute a database with a default set of options. You'd also probably make a separate app for upgrades rather than have the main app add tables/columns/rows
