copy file from root of CD to target directory during install

I've created a deployment project that works just fine, but would like to change one thing...

The app I'm deploying requires a unique file for each install. the app will be used by 100s of clients so I don't want to rebuild the deployment project for each client. I'd like the unique file to be on the root of the CD I'm deploying from and have the install copy that file to the target directory of the clients machine. I've googled this all day and have not found a simple or working solution. Please Help, and soon as I'd like to be done with this project

I have found a solution

Yes I did find a way to do this! I surfed for many hours, and found enough code to piece together what I needed. I'll Share with you my solution later tonight or tomorrow as I don't have the time now, but thought I'd give you a heads-up.
