connecting with database 4D (forth dimension)

how can i connect with database 4D (forth dimension) in vb.net.

I asked them , but no reply.
I hope that someone may have experience on connecting with 4d database files *.4dd , *.4dr , in dotnet using vb.net.
I have old application still running with 4D.

Here is the 4D ODBC driver:

You should hence be able to make an ODBC conenction. Beware, i read some forum postings of problems and crashes when accessing columns of 4d type 'text' such as:

That odbc is used for connecting to 4D server.
I want odbc connected to 4D database files( like mdb of ms access).
