Can't I get MYSQL free ?

Hello every one,


I am trying to install MYSQL on my Linux Sues 10.0 and have been trying to find and download MYSQL but wherever I find it on line it says either pay or trial 30 days ! I thought I can instal it free but now I am so frustrated because I have been looking for it since last night and yet have not been able to find one.


I would appreciate your help and assistance in this regard please.

And if youre developing on it in .NET, I wouldnt bother - it takes so much longer and is so much more hard work that it costs more than paying for SQLServer (if you cannot use the free versions of SQLS or Oracle)

Given that free versions of SQLS and Oracle exist, you wouldnt convince me to use MySQL..
