Call vs2005 form from within excel

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any tips on calling some sort of visual studio app (untimately a form) from within excel

so something along the lines of having a button in excel which calls this dll/ocx and opens a form for data populating.

See post 3 here http://www.vbdotnetforums.com/component-development/28216-referencing-net-assembly-com-interop.html about preparing the Class Library for use by Excel. Once done, built and registered you can add reference to it from Excel VBA and write a macro to utilize it.
You can add forms to Class Library projects, but they are not "visible" to COM by default, the easiest solution is to call them from the COM class (see linked article).
