I'm interested in knowing the best way to go about programming an Office Building Directory/wayfinder.
I can provide an example of the application that I have seen in use. It's made by a company called Touch Source. I can provide a link if requested.
Basically, I want to know if someone could shed some light on the best way to go about creating that type of Kiosk application where someone could input information on a touch screen keyboard (say the name of a tenant) and then the application would search a database for that particular name and then show the results.
I know this sounds very low-level to many seasoned veterans but I want to learn more about how these applications are built and delivered. I can provide the link if necessary.
