Application Icon Problem

Hello,

I'm using VS 2010 Beta 2 however I've had this problem with 2005 express and VS 2008.

When I publish and install an application the Icon I made for it doesn't appear on the desktop. Instead I get the standard white box with green error that you would expect if you didn't select a .ico for the application.

HOWEVER, the icon does appear in the task bar as well as in the top left corner of the application.

Any suggestions? I've had this problem on vista and now windows 7 (home premium and professional, respectively)

This is the Form icon, the application icon is set in Application tab of project properties.

This is how I have been setting the icon image. I didn't realize there was another way
