Am I out of luck ?

I have never developed for CF before.
My wife bought me an old Axim X5 (CE 3.0.11171(build 11178)

I have VS 2005 and would like to try doing some development for this device. Have had a HECK of a time trying to get CF V2 on the device and whenever I try to deploy from Visual Studio, it tells me I need a newer ver of windows.

Am I just out of luck on this device ?

hmmm, found an upgrade to mobile 2003. was at least able to get a simple app deployed. think i'll get a wireless card and give this a whirl...
