adding wmp to form

Hello All,
I just downloaded vs 2022. My aim is to make a vb.net application, I selected new project windows forms vb. I can move controls onto the form such as text box listbox buttons etc, but cannot put windows media player there. It is shown in the toolbox (I used chose items to get it there) but it is greyed out. Any ideas?

What framework is your project targeting? I'm not sure it should make a difference but maybe it won't work in .NET Core projects for some reason.

Also, is it definitely a WinForms project and not WPF?
