ADD and EDIT in database through datagrid

I am doing a projact in which I need help.
I have created a data grid in which a database table is displayed.
I have added CLEAR and CANCEL buttons.
Now I want to insert buttons ADD and EDIT to it

EDIT button to let you edit to that record

(AND)

ADD button will add the changes I made to that respective table and row ,named compatibility.
I also want that first the ADD button to be remained disabled and when I edit it it should be enabled and if I press clear button EDIT button to disabled.
Please Help me in this......
