Question about set up and deployment

Hi everyone....
I have created an application in VB. Now i want to create setup files for that...(I dont want to go for packaging and deployment wizard available in visual studio 6.0)...I am completely newBee in Vb.net....I also seen some references from net but they are completely about Vb.net project(ie not like project in VB and set up in .net) and i got stuck in creating cab files itself..
so plz illustrate me steps of creating set up.. Ur comments will be toooooo much useful...any suggestion will be appreciable....Post earlist as possible..Thanx
