dpi screen resolution

Hi, Can anyone tell why my vb.net program looks fine when I set the "Make text and other items larger or smaller" settings in Screen Resolution to 100% and 150% but absolutely awful at 125% (nearly all controls clipped etc.)? At the moment I'm trying to get my head round applications with...
