You could use the command line version of 7zip. But I'm not sure if/how you can use the builtin windows zip support... then again, I've been using vb.net for a total of 5 days now...
I only know of one component that can do this, but that doesn't mean to say that there aren't more. This is a cracking bit of software, and i'm a bit bias becase i have bought it. I'm afraid to do it yourself is not as simple as importing the WinZip namespace. There's quite a bit involved here, anyway here's the link..
