we want to integrate a WYSIWYG editor in our non-commercial vb.net windows application. Can anybody commend a control, which is ideally free?

I'm assuming you're inquiring about ASP.NET, i.e. a web based WYSIWYG editor? If so, there are many on the market, not sure about free, you get what you pay for.

Thank's for your answer, but I need a WYSIWYG editor for a windows forms application with HTML as its input and output format.

See if this is what you need. Not sure what's out there in this market for HTML designers for Winforms.
