While researching on how to tell if any third party firewalls are installed I came across articles referring to Windows Security Center. From what I read Windows Security Center can detect third party firewalls and notifies if they are installed.

What we are looking for is a way to detect third party firewalls, we have an app that installs printers, but a third party firewall could stop the installation.

From other things I have learned in the last few months is that there is usually a way to access most information on a computer somehow. Any Ideas pointing me in the right direction or code samples will be greatly appreciated.
