Where to get good icons for apps?

Hello all,

I am wondering where to get some really nice, modern looking, free of royalties, icons? Preferably the masked bitmap type since it seems using an icon placed in the imagelist control, makes the icons appear "crappy".

For some common icons there is a zip file installed with Visual Studio 2005:
<drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\VS2005ImageLibrary\VS2005ImageLibrary.zip.
