what do i need on a fresh installed windows xp pro sp2 to run a program written in Visual C# 2005? when i try to install the application i deployed, <application>.application shows me the xml code... until now the only solution i found is to install internet explorer 7. is there an update that works for internet explorer 6? i want to deploy the application to other people... and i can't force them to install ie7 (some of them don't like ie7... they prefer ie6)

For reference, you can uninstall IE7 and it reverts to IE6. I used the Add / Remove Programs option to do it on my PC, and it worked fine - no problems at all :)

i didn't ask how i uninstall ie7... i asked what windows/internet explorer updates i have to install to be able to install applications written in c# 2005 deployed on a website. with a windows xp with no updates (fresh install) i see the xml code of the file <application name>.application... i tried to install everyting i found on the microsoft website about xml (parser, etc) and still no luck. anyway, thanks for trying

do i really have to install internet explorer 7 to be able to install applications built in microsoft visual C# 2005 ???
