Question what is the difference between the dataset and datatable objects?

wats the defferience between the dataset and datatable?
can i just use the datatable without dataset to manipulating database?

A DataTable holds the columns and the data
A DataSet holds 1 or more DataTables and can hold 0 or more Relations between said tables.
