Question What faster methods are available for VB to access the internet?

What faster methods are available for VB to access the internet?
I.e. methods which are faster than simply using VB Browser, as people make web bots which access multiple sites quickly which I would imagine meant there is a faster way.

Bots don't need to render anything on screen, that's why they are faster...
