Question webbrowser control crashes with java-applets

Hello,

I'm trying to run a java-built LED-ticker like the one over here:
using the webbrowser control.
Unfortunately I keep getting this error:
"Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory has been corrupted "

I have tried a hundred things but nothing works. Anyone knows how to fix this problem???? I'm almost at the point of throwing my laptop out of the window so please help

Given all the response I got, I must conclude that this problem can't be solved, just like the "Moroccan problem" we have over here. Therefore I'd like to know whether it's possible to rebuild the above JAva-applet using asp.net and/or vb.net. Anyone any idea how much work this would be, and how to get started?
