VoIP Help Needed

Hi,

I am working on a application in which I want to receive voice packets (Audio) which will be encoded using either G.723.1 or G.729 codec using either TDM or FDM. Now at the receiving end I need to decode packet to check its header for source i.e. origin and other packet info. Here I am confused that how should I decode it using appropriate decoding scheme and check for packet header.
