Hello all,
I'm posting here hoping that someone has seen this before.. :| I'm running Windows 7, fully patched, 64-Bit OS and I've installed Visual Studio 2008. Whenever I make a new web project, or open an existing one, all of the ASP.NET controls are disabled! I can't create any of the .NET specific controls. I can use the HTML Controls, but not the ASP.NET ones. :'(

Any ideas?

Thanks :)

...uggghh.. lol.
Sorry about that.

It works now. Not sure what it was. The "Version Checker" application tells me I only have .NET 3.0, while I can now create and edit .NET 3.5 projects. I guess it was just uninstalling .NET 3.5.1 via Windows Add/Remove Programs | Turn Windows Features On or Off, then re-installing it via the same method (executable/bootstrapper doesn't work for me, it tells me to use the add/remove procedure ), and rebooting a handful of times that worked...

Oh well.
Thanks for your consideration.
