Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition & SQL Express Edition- Using TableAdapter-insert

Good Day to all and thank you for taking the time to possibly help me get threw this little project of mine.

I'm currently attempting to take a VB.net 05 Help Desk Program from using text files and adding everything to a SQL Database. I entered all the data from the text files in to the database. Simply because I needed to go threw and delete half of them.

I've created a TableAdapter using the Wizard and can see all information in that table.

This program is also supposed to allow data to be entered in to the database as well. As I am new to SQL I'm doing my best and trying to use the knowledge I already have to try to figure this out. But I've run in to an issue.

Like I said, I have a tableadapter created that can pull the data from the database and place it in a GridView. I also have text boxes created and are binded to the view.

The problem this code creates- it edits the last entry in the dataset. I need it to create a new entry. Or am I doing this way wrong?


Thanks for your help, if I am doing this way wrong, can anyone suggest a quick guide or a good example program?
