Vertical spacing in CheckBoxList/RadioButtonList

Still at the beginning of the learning curve. Still need help.

I have a CheckBoxList and a RadioButtonList control on a form. Is there any way to reduce the vertical spacing (compress) the vertical space between each item in the list?

If this is in the wrong forum, could somebody please point me to the correct area to post these kinds of questions?

You can set CellSpacing and CellPadding to 0, and perhaps decrease font size.

I thought I had tried that, but apparantly not (or at least not correctly).
