Well its my first time on these forums. Ive used the search and found stuff which is quite helpful. But there is a few things i need which i havnt yet found.
In Vb.net, is there a way detect where a certain program is installed? I want to find the executable and directory for a particular game, whats the fastest way to find it and execute it?
I was looking thru my programs and looking at MS Office. When i create a shortcut on my desktop and look at its properties, it does not point to msword.exe or any folder. Instead it says Target: Microsoft Office Word. It has no pointer to the exe. Is there a way to make VB.NET execute soemthing like this?
