Hi.
Im totally new to .net ( been using VB 5 and 6 for the last 5 years ) and am having a lot of problems setting up and using databases from VB 2005.
I have migrated an old SQL 2000 database to 2005 with no hassles and i can read the information such as tables and data from within the management studio.
however,
When using the database connection wizard in vb 2005 it just plaingly times out for one reason or another. I have gone though all possible setting to no avail... what could be the problem here???
PS all SQL services are on and configured as far as i can tell
