Ecology Building Society - a sustainable financial institution based in West Yorkshire - is recruiting for a Junior VB.Net Developer / IT Assistant. This is a hands-on role offering huge variety, in which you?ll contribute to the delivery of the Society?s communications and IT strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Using your Microsoft VB.NET and Microsoft SQL skills to maintain and create new software for use by our staff (some projects will involve working with the Technology Manager and some working alone)
• Supporting the Technology Manager on all aspects of the provision and support of computer and hardware solutions
• Working with the Technology Manager mainly on software projects along with involvement in infrastructure projects
• Providing support to our staff for software and hardware issues.

Thanks for your reply. We're UK based so it's ?25,000 per year - i.e. $37,623 at today's exchange rate.

Hi,

I would very much doubt that you will get an experienced programmer for that salary but it sounds about right, as an entry point, for a Graduate / Junior programmer but you may need to make some compromises on your required experience expectations.
