I was just wondering if anyone here can tell me where to extract files from a downloaded custom control...to what folder should I extract it to? and how do i implement this calendar control into my visual studio. net toolbar.

You can extract them wherever you want. It would make sense to choose a standard location for all your third-party assemblies and put them all there.
