I received this error when I tried to build a solution. The file it had the problem with is the pdb file.

I'd start by deleting the 'obj' and 'bin' folders under your project folder.

There's also a Clean Solution option for that in Build menu, but it is not straightforward to access it, especially if you're using VB Express edition in Basic settings mode.

Deleting the bin and obj folders didn't work. I've already tried cleaning the solution.
