Hi proggers,

i have a question regarding pictureboxes:

i currently have a form and 2 picture boxes on it. One of them (pic_Background) is showing a landscape and it is meant to be the background. the second picturebox (pic_Man) is a self-edited PNG image that contains a 'human'. The human itself is the only non-transparent part in the picture. everything around this human is made transparent using photoshop. i verified that by opening that png file in mspaint and irfanview and checked if the surrounding of the human is transparent and, indeed, it is. so i included this pic into my pic_Man but all i get is this: ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

it is the default gray backcolor of the picturebox around my human. i tried almost everything but i couldnt get it. how do i make it completely transparent, so that the backgorund is visible around my human and not that gray color. of course i switched the backcolor property to transparent but it didnt help.

i also tried to use the MakeTransparent-Method but without success.

i really hope someone can help me.

ps: sorry for my english, i am german ;)

and a merry xmas and a happy new year everyone
