Tracker Bar

has anyone ever used this control?
i have found it very hard to find information on how to use it.
what i would like to do is it save the value of the tracker bar(ie scale of 1-10)
into my access database and then when i recall the value the tracker goes to the correct spot on the bar.

any help would be appreciated, as i said it doesnt seem to be covered very well on the net.

Can't say I've had much call for it, but you should be able to just use trackbar.value = yourvalue. Or is getting the value you issue?

i suppose what i am wondering is :


if i move the marker on the tracker up to 5, can i just submit this to the database.(will the vALue 5 be stored in the DB)
And when i recall the record from the database, will the tracker move to 5 again.

i was just wondering was it as easy as the value of the bar or would you have to do some sort of casting.

Sure, you'd just use sql update.

You can also use dataBindings and bind the Value property of the trackBar to an integer field.
