Question Timer Function

Hi All,

I m using Timer in that i wrote some functions.. the functions are inserting data in the data base...and updating the database...Timer will call every 2 minutes...Here the problem was after inserting the records only it will call timer enable but before only agian timer enable when large data i want to insert then it takes time ...i have two functions one is inserting into the database and another updating the database...after database updation then timer enabled.

Please any one suggest a solution

If you want to stop the Timer before inserting your data and then start the Timer again after inserting the data then that's exactly what you should do.
