How often do you look at some code that you have written, and wonder why it doesnt work? I mean, REALLY wonder why it doesnt work? You look at it, and realise that you know it's something you've done, but just cannot for the life of you work out why it isnt working.

I have a new solution to this problem. It's called a search engine. Let me tell you why ... :friendly_wink:

Having spent an hour or so on a problem, I gave up trying to fix it without help. I went searching, and found a post on a forum, specifying the exactly the same problem, and the solution. No problem, all fixed ......

.... until I realised that what I was reading was a thread I STARTED, ON THIS FORUM, four years ago, with a pointer from JohnH as to where I should be looking !!!!!!!!

Shoud have known better :moody: LOL

It happens to me too once in a while, there are many fine details in programming, and it has actually happened when searching web I have found posts I wrote myself years ago explaining something I forgot all about :)
