System.Net.Mail and VB.Net

Has any one used the new Net.Mail.SMTPClient class from .NEt 2.0 yet???

FOr some reason when i create and send an E-Mail from it, the application seems to "hold" the E-Mail and sends it when the application closes... very strange!!

Any one else come accross the very strange problem and over come it? i was thinking i might have missed a nee setting that is causing the E-Mail to be held but for the life of me i cant find it

Its ok i found the issue now.

Its somthing to do with some Anti-Virus Out bound mail scanners, if you dont .dispose the "mail message" the E-Mail will not be sent until it dies (IE, when the app closes), but even when you do call .dispose and then set the mail message to nothing it still takes about 1.5 mins for the E-Mail to be sent to your SMTP server, very anoying to say the least
