I'm getting this error when making a connection to Oracle in ASP.NET.
System.Data.OracleClient requires Oracle client software version 8.1.7 or greater
My Oracle Client version is greater than 8.1.7, I've checked out a solution for this problem at this address - http://dotnetjunkies.com/WebLog/rtgurskevik/archive/2005/01/19/45958.aspx
But the problem is that my PC is a FAT partition not NTFS, so doesn't have a security tab on the folders.
I'd be extremly grateful if someobody could help me on this.
