Stepper motors & USB

Hello,

I've been working on a piece of software for a while, but I seemed to have a block in my path.

I need to control a small Stepper motor, pretty simple but im fairly lost on where to start!.

Can anyone send me in the right direction as to where I should start, or what I will need?
