SQL logfile for one particular program

I was wondering if there is a way to create a log file using VB.net 2005 for one particular program. The program accesses SQL databases throughout use and we want to log every time something is put into the database, taken out, and used basically. I know that SQL automatically uses logfiles for things, but I was wondering if I could make a separate database almost to log what happens when people use this one particular program.
