Sniffing RS232 (Serial Port)

Can any one guide me how to sniff RS232 port using vb.net 2005?

well thats the namespace used to send and receive data on Serial Port!
My question is I want to sniff the data already been transmitted on the port.

Something like this you mean:

Since they try to sell their product for 300 bucks, we might assume that the functionality is a bit more complex than 3-4 lines of .Net code.

So no idea from me then ...
