Simple RSS Feed Reader

I'm looking for some sample code that will create a simple rss reader. Anyone with some info to point me in the right direction.

I just want the data to be visble on a form, maybe in a dropdown box.

I'm not real familiar with databases, but maybe this is a good opportunity to learn.
