setting lpt1 from vb.net application

Hi everyone,

I have a windows application in which I need to set lpt1 to a specific network printer, depending on a selection made by the user.

Is there a way of setting it directly? Or do I need to send commands to command prompt? If the latter is the only way... how can I do this?

Ok I managed,

Just did:

Shell("net use lpt1 /delete")
Shell("net use lpt1 \\printerName")
