Serializing & ????

hi guys/girls

i Dont Know what i am looking for, the idea here is depending on the invoice type would depend on what would be called but i am also looking to save them as a list into an XML file

i dont know what to do so im looking for suggestions and examples if anyone can help me

Hi,

I think I sort of get what you are trying to do. You basically want to run different code on different invoices depending on the invoice type that has been read from a serialized file of invoices?

Going on this basis; The one issue that you currently have is that you are not, easily, able to serialize an Action delegate to a file. I have seen some ways on the net to do this but this particular aspect is currently beyond my experience.

If I were doing this right now I would add an InvoiceType to the custom type and then write a Case statement to determine what needs to be done with each invoice type. That said, here is an example of Writing and Reading a Serialized list of custom types.
