serial port timed out...

Hi. I believed that I am running into an issue of timed out when using VB.net SerialPort1.
My GUI is waiting for 10 to 30 seconds for the test to complete. At then end of the test then the micro controller board will send the data over to the GUI.
I just don't know how to disable or extend the timed out for the Serial Port. Please advise.

I have set SerialPort1.ReadTimeout = 30000 and SerialPort1.WriteTimeout = 30000.

Still did not work. Is there a way to disable timeout?

Try reading the documentation, which is really what you should have done in the first place.
