Folks
We have a two servers q1 and q2, i developed my .net application and moved it to q1 and q2 by using "copy project".
I tested separately on the both the servers and the application is displayed properly
ie
I tested like this on the browser
http://q1/appName and
http://q2/appName
it worked correctly. q server is clustered and i have to view the site by using the url
https://q/appName at this point it takes the application from either q1 or q2 and the page is displayed, at this point i m getting the following error
Runtime Error
[font=Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, SunSans-Regular, sans-serif]Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="Off"/> </system.web></configuration>
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/> </system.web></configuration>
I checked the Web.config in the both q1 and q2 and customErrors mode was set to "Off"
I even tried to change the processModel, userName attribute to "system" in machine.config file. It did not work, can anyone help me out?
Thanks
W.
