RTF header

Hi all,

i am opening a .rtf file in Richtextbox.(vb.net)

but the header and footer in the .rtf file is not coming in richtextbox

does anyone knows how can an rtf file be displayed with all formatting.(with header and footer ) in richtextbox .

This is a shortcoming in the RichTextBox control because it uses an older version RTF before header/footer formatting codes were included. Unsupported formatting is just dropped by RTF parsing engine, so if you look at the RTF before and after RTB has loaded you see they are gone. It is similar as the Windows RTF editor Wordpad, this also doesn't handle header/footer.
