FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Crainiate announce Objecto Framework 2.0 for agile data orientated development
Reusable n-tier data class object creation, supporting Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and LINQ

Reading, Berkshire, UK 05 June 2007 – Crainiate Software make details available of the release of Objecto Framework 2.0, an upgrade to their enterprise business component framework, designed to make it easy for programmers to create agile persisted business objects that are reusable, customisable and scalable, without additional developer tools.

Objecto uses object persistence and managed database technology to allow developers to create objects that are seamlessly deployed, saved to and retrieved from a relational database such as Microsoft SQL Server. The Enterprise edition includes a remoting provider and support for clustering in a multi server environment. Now with full support for Microsoft Language Integrated Query (LINQ) to increase development speed and ease.

Entire CRM, Financial and other business systems created using Objecto can be reused and extended by other developers, without access to the original source code and without manual changes to the underlying database. Systems using Objecto are more agile and can be changed and redeployed more quickly.

New features include:

* Full support for Language Integrated Query (LINQ) to access persisted database objects through the Objecto Framework provider engine.
* Tightly integrated add-ins for development and deployment directly through the next edition of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
* A predesigned library of common objects for rapid creation of entire business object frameworks.

James Westgate, Technical Director of Crainiate Software: "LINQ’s query language syntax is a perfect fit for developers using Objecto framework and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. It provides the flexibility of a SQL-like query syntax with the performance benefits of a precompiled database stored procedure.”

“Using the power of the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2005, Objecto Framework 2.0 will help developers concentrate on delivering flexible business solutions on time and within budget” said Joe Marini, Group Manager of the Visual Studio Industry Partners program at Microsoft Corp.

The standard version of the Objecto Framework 2.0 will be made available for use free of charge. More information can be obtained from the Crainiate website www.crainiate.net or by contacting sales@crainiate.net.
