retrieving data in 2 comboboxes from 2 diff tables

hello,
in my form i have one combobox namely "ename" and i have one more combobox called
"edesig" .
the data in the combobox labelled "ename" is coming from one table and the data in the "edesig" is coming from another table.

my query is

when i press the first combobox ,the data is retrieved and when i am clicking another combobox ,the data is retrieved in the second combobox ,but the first combobox data is disappearing and viceversa.

so,i want the data to be pertained , when i click any of the comboboxes.
