retrieved data from data set

I want to display records ,where the data are located at MS acces database.But i dont know how to display date with date time picker..

Dim date1 As Date

date1 = CDate(ds.Tables("Employee Details").Rows(0).Item(2))
dtpDOB.Text = date1.ToString()
