Retrieve Data From Card Reader

Hi,

May I know how to retrieve the data/infomation (for example the Credit Card info) from a smart card reader using VB.Net?!

How should I code it in a VB.Net way?!

I'm currently using a USB type Card Reader (Gemplus GemPC430) and my PC O/S is Windows XP.
