Question Regarding sending of mails using SMTP server in the organization

I want to send the mail as well as sms from the PC. I am currently working on vb.net framework 2.0. I have code as follows:

I am facing the following error:

Failure sending mail.

what may be the reason?

Try replacing:

smtpServer.Credentials = New Net.NetworkCredential(TextBox1.Text & "@gmail.com", TextBox2.Text)

with

smtpServer.Credentials = New Net.NetworkCredential(TextBox1.Text, TextBox2.Text)

Hello.

Also if you are emaling from within your organization you should check your firewall so it doesn't block port 587.
